A lot of nonbelievers that I know keep asking me where in the Bible it says anything about dinosaurs and prehistoric times. I don’t understand how to answer that.
I can refer you to a couple places. Where I think we find it the most is
between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. In Genesis 1:1 it says, “In the beginning
God created the heavens and the earth.” And then in verse two, it says, “And the
earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep.”
And the theory that some take, and I think that there’s some validity to this
theory, is that there was a period of time between verse one and verse two.
Because if God created the heaven and the earth in verse 1 and then in verse 2
the earth was without form, how can the earth be without form in verse 2 if in
verse 1, He just created the earth? So the theory is that something happened
between verse one and verse two. That’s called the “Gap Theory.”
There is a gap of time between these two verses and it is in that period of time
where dinosaurs roamed. It is in that period of time where the kinds of animals
that don’t exist anymore, those that are extinct, existed in between that period
of time. Now, I can’t prove that. I’m just saying that that’s one theory.
I think the other place in Scripture where there seems to be mention of some
sort of dinosaurs or sea monsters of some sort is in the book of Job where Job
speaks of Leviathan, a monster that roamed the earth and in the sea, I believe.
He speaks of the gigantic size of this animal and he speaks of its deadly power
as well. So, I think the book of Job and the book of Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2
are the places where people get the concepts that dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Clearly, there’s enough evidence to demonstrate that they did exist, so denying
that is ignorant on the part of us as Christians. But I don’t believe that we
should just take the theory that everything’s evolved just because dinosaurs
existed. I believe there was a period of time in which they did exist. It could
have been before the flood because the flood wasted everything on this earth and
before that, I believe is where we find dinosaurs as well as all those animals
that are now extinct.
But you can go to some Creation vs. Evolution websites that have more specific
answers about dinosaurs as well. One of the websites that you can go to about
dinosaurs is http://www.christiananswers.net/. It talks about where dinosaurs
came from and talks about the verses and it will give you some answers.

In a recent Bible conference held at a Bible school, a speaker made quite an emphatic point that unbelievers have no value as human beings. And that really bothered me.
Well, I do not agree with that statement either. First of all Jesus said that
God takes care of the sparrows and He takes care of the lilies of the field. And
you have more value than the sparrows and the lilies of the field. He was
speaking to human beings that were not born again yet. So unbelievers have as
much value.
God created us in His image according to Genesis chapter 1, Matthew chapter 6.
You can look throughout the Bible and see that. In Romans chapter 5, the Bible
says that while we were still sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. Well, who
would die for somebody that didn’t have any value? So, if He died for the
ungodly, then the fact is, the ungodly, sinners, unbelievers, have as much value
to God as anybody else because Jesus’ blood is what gives them value. Jesus’
blood is what makes every one of us valuable.
A thing’s value is determined by how much somebody will pay to own that thing.
And God was willing to pay with His own blood to have you and me.
