STOP PRAYING!…..So Hard

What a bold statement! But prayer is easier than most people think. You may be thinking, “Doesn’t the Bible say to pray without ceasing?” It certainly does! But that doesn’t mean prayer ever has to be hard. And when you realize how easy it really is, that’s when you’ll never cease doing it!

Jesus said in Matthew 11:29-30, “Take my yoke and learn of me. My yoke is easy, my burden is light.” That doesn’t sound hard does it? He said to take His yoke & burden–they are easy and light. Jesus did all the hard work. By dying on the cross, He took our sins. He became a curse for us. He guaranteed His promises, through the shedding of His own blood. He did ALL the heavy lifting. All we have to do is come to Him and receive. We don’t have to beg or plead or cry for anything. Jesus said, to simply ask…and it SHALL be given (Luke 11:9). It shall be GIVEN. Answered prayer is a GIFT. It’s not something we work for or earn. We simply ask! Jesus didn’t say to beg or plead. Hebrews 4:16 says we can come boldly to the throne of grace to receive mercy and grace to help in our time of need.

All we have to do is: Come boldly & Receive. So you CAN: STOP PRAYING……….So Hard!

You no longer have to struggle to get your prayers answered. Isaiah 43:26 tells us it’s simply reminding God of something He already promised.Jesus died to put into effect His covenant promises. There are over 7,000 promises in the Bible. And all of those promises are YES, in Him (2 Corinthians 1:20). When you are born again, you are IN HIM.Remember, He did all the heavy lifting! All you have to do is ask and receive.

When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, the first thing He said was: pray this way: “Our Father…” (Luke 11:2). Prayer starts with knowing God is your Father. Jesus said, “If you evil fathers know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE WILL YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER GIVE GOOD GIFTS to those who ASK Him! (Matthew 7:11)

Prayer becomes easy when you change your perception of God. He is your Heavenly Father. He gave you His Son. He gave you 7,000 promises! He invites you simply to come; to ask boldly or confidently; and to receive! Put Him in remembrance of His magnificent promises and watch Him do exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond all that you can ask or think!
